Pincer Attack

The tentacles of the Giant Sqid seem endless
thousand of crustaceans with pincers extended
fight valiantly against almost impossible odds
they will rip and tear away the suckers
which will float harmlessly to the surface
just another daily struggle for survival
in the ocean depths
