Born and raised in the San Fransisco Bay Area, David now resides in Walnut Creek, California. He was first introduced to metal through his grandfather, who later helped him land a job as a pipefitter. The ease at which large pieces of metal could be formed into limitless objects fascinated him, and the metal soon became an affliction. He presently has a small metal fabrication business, specializing in physical fitness equipment.

David frequently seeks refuge in his art. He has recently had the opportunity to show his work at the following exhibits:

Through The Door San Francisco, CA 7/95
Art in the Garden Monterey, CA 6/96
Henry Miller Sculpture '96 Big Sur, CA 9/96
The Pacific Rim San Francisco, CA 9/96

"Building fitness equipment is not unlike walking down a familiar path. While it feels good to be moving, the sights are all the same. Sculpting, however, is much different. Offering excitement, intrigue, tests and triumphs, the path is always changing."
