ART 003 -- Images for the Web

ASSIGNMENT 4 -- EXPERIMENTS
Due Friday, October 29
(15 points)

1.) Create a page called "assignment4.html" to be saved in your "art003" folder
This page will contain a series of photographs which are manipulated in a photo editing program.
You may use the photographs for assignment 3 or use different images.
Different photo editing programs offer different options, so feel free to experiement.
Try options for color changes, layering, combining photographs, using various filters, blurs, drawing, painting, using text or any changes you decide.

2.) Your page should contain at least 5 manipulated images.
Under each image include a description of how the image was created>
what software was used, and what tools and procedures you preformed.
If you do a larger series of photographs (more than 5) that is great.

1
.) Post this page and all the images to your personal webspace at PSU, the Penn State Pass system.
The Portal method is highly recommended,

HOW TO POST YOUR WEBPAGES TO PENN STATE'S WEBSPACE

2.) After you send your html files, AND any images you inserted into the page, to the portal --
be sure it shows up on the internet:
See Help and Tutorials. How to Find Your PSU Webpage.

3.)
After you have uploaded your Assignment 4 page to the PSU portal be sure to upload the .html webpage in the dropbox called Assignment 4 under the Lessons tab in ANGEL.
NOTE:
you do NOT need to upload any images in the Dropbox, just your .html page.
(the Pictures will not show up, that is okay. Uploading your page allows me to track your grades and if there are any problems with your page I can see the code.)

4.) ****After you have competed your assignment take a look at the pages of your fellow group members. Pick at least 2 students whose work you want to respond to.
Post a message on your group's discussion board or send a message to each them directly (copy it to me as well) with any positive suggestions you have to improve their pages. Any positive comments or helpful suggestions are encouraged.
(Your classmates URL addresses and Team/Group assignments are listed under their names in the "IN TOUCH" tab in ANGEL)
