They Don't Make Crosses Like They Used To
Dragging a large wooden cross, the man traveled south along the ocean highway. The rough surface
of the road eroded the wood of the upright. By the time he had traveled another twenty to thirty
miles the cross was short. As he sat at the edge of the road pondering the problem, I suggested
wheels. He attached a skate and was last seen merrily rolling along.
