"Mage," Gallett began, but Ince cut in quickly.
        "Have you sent a rider in? Has anyone, ever?"
        "No, I don't think so."
        "I'm going in. Recall the construction aide. I'm going down, and I want no 1 else in there."
        Gallett spoke into her com.
        "I don't think you should go in alone, rider."
        Ince gave no indication she had heard me. She was watching the entrance intently, the force of her now committed to removing the aide so that she might enter without further delay.
        I stood by Gallett. "She shouldn't go in alone. It isn't responsible."
