Locals say "If you don't like the weather now, wait 5 minutes!" The changing skies added immediacy to my art. Living in the mountain's changing climate gave me a feeling that I needed to be ready for anything, everyday --- sun, snow, rain or wind. So often one of us suddenly said to the other: "Look at the sky, now! " --- and you looked, now!
