Sawtooth Ghost Barn

As the sun crossed the Sawtooth Valley its rays reflected off the tin roof of the ghost barn, catching my eye again and again. Finally it caught my hands and soul as well.

Forever mated, pairs of Sandhill Cranes were also caught by the mystery of the valley, parading elegantly in the tall grasses for weeks. They, like myself and my mate, left reluctantly as the summer drew to an end.
