Aspens on the 4th-of-July Creek

My favorite Aspen grove was on the 4th-of-July Creek. It was a subject of many paintings, and a soul-inspiring retreat. Marilyn too, found it inspiring, spending long weeks camping there in earlier years. Sadly, the grove was hit hard by heavy winds later in the summer, taking down many trees. But its beauty lives on in painting and photograph.
