The Dance Notation Bureau would like to welcome and introduce you to our
new librarian, Bob Shapiro. With his MLS from The University of Texas at
Austin, Bob comes to us from the Brooklyn Public Library.

A folk dancer for 30 years, Bob has collected notes for over 1,500 dances.
We are teaching him Labanotation and hope he will translate many of them
into Labanotation.

Bob will be at the DNB Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. to
help you with your library requests.

Bob replaces Matthew Sheehy, who has joined the New York Public Library in
Technical Services doing music cataloging.
