I recently uploaded a revised version of my introductory studio page, and am
experiencing a problem with it that I hope someone can give me some advice
about.
When I type in the shortcut address:
http://www.art.net/~alisa
the new page does not appear- it's still the same old one. But when I type
out the long address:
http://www.art.net/Studios/Visual/Alisa/alisa.html
then the new one DOES appear (I tried both ways, reloading them repeatedly,
to test this). So my question is, do I need to upload my new "alisa.html"
page to some other place where this shortcut looks to, since apparently it
doesn't go directly to where the regular long address does? Or does someone
there at art.net need to tweak something so it sees the newly uploaded page?
I recently sent out a resume for a job I'm hopeful of, but it has the
shortcut webpage address on it and I'd really like them to see the most
recent version instead! Please help, anybody, when you get a chance... thanks
a lot!!
