Hi Sarabel,

I am sorry that you are having problems accessing art.net. Our site is doing
fine and we have not had any net connection problems. The accesses do tend
to drop on the weekends simply because fewer people are surfing those days.

When we attempt a traceroute to sirius.com, we do notice that Sirius goes
through MCI which is know to have congestion problems. This congestion can
make your access to art.net seem slow. It's something that we have no control
over.

The only advice we can give you is to select a service provider that doesn't
use MCI. Sprint also seems to have alot of problems. Also, if you pick providers
that have a Mae-West connection, the access time will be extreamly fast if our
provider peers with them. Some of these providers are best.com, hooked.net
and netcom.com.

As for people accessing the Internet from far and wide, it's like an ocean...
there are high tides and low tides and access times vary depending upon
the way the net is... Nothing is fixed or stable on the net...

Hope this helps you in your search for faster access to art.net.

thanks,

-lile
