Moire Nevuchim

From a series of paintings, which I call “Moire Nevuchim”, (a pun on the Hebrew name of the famous philosophical treatise by the Rambam or Maimonides: "The Guide to the Perplexed"). Here "moire" interference patterns from discarded fly screens are used to suggest a certain ineffable transcendence, a kinetic optical illusion which doesn't exist in "reality".

Sephirot

The Kabbalah uses the Ten Sephirot or Supernal Orbs as the basic roadmap

Dreaming about Zionism

Jewish Star

Zionism - to rephrase Herzl - if we don’t want and value it,
will return to be only a dream or even a nightmare.
