This marine piece features a vessel swept ashore under a stormy sky with an intense harbor back-drop. Inspired by a setting at Long Island's Huntington Harbor, this dramatic scene is a favorite as it reflects the drama of the moment in unique painterly fashion. As with all of his works this piece was completed on location.
Completed in 1989, the original piece is a combination of watercolor and gouache paints set on fine French Arches paper. The signed and numbered limited edition print is produced on Strathmore 100% acid-free rag archival paper, 90 lb., in an edition size of 180 and an image size of 20 x 23 ½".
