Spanish Moss (1993) (60k)I'd never seen Spanish Moss hanging from evergreen trees before, and these along the road leading to Muir Woods National Monument in Marin County, CA, were very striking with their moss drapery.

Panum Crater, CA (1984) (136k) Panum Crater is located near Mono Lake, CA in the Mono Basin National Forest Scenic Area. It is part of a chain of extinct volcanoes east of the Sierras and north of Mammoth Lakes, CA.
Tehachapi Clouds (1994) (77k) I was coming back to the Bay Area from Los Angeles along Interstate 5 crossing the Tehachapi Mountains when I saw these lenticular clouds forming and couldn't resist stopping for a bit (an hour an a half) to make a few (maybe 72) pictures.
		Sunset Tree (1993) (26k) This tree is in a small park run by the East Bay Regional Park District. Point Isabel Park is for dogs and their owners.
