HANDCOLORING BLACK & WHITE PHOTOS: For instructions on how I do my handcoloring - click here! BROMOIL PRINTING PROCESS: For details on
the bromoil process - well, I'm just a beginner at that one, so I'll
send you on to listen to those who have been doing it much longer.
For starters, check out the following websites: Come back soon for some of my musings on the subject. In the meantime you can also take a look at Nudes (Camera Craft), by Anna Henley. This is a lovely book, just published in June 2003 by AVA Publishing. It's part of a series of "how to" books. It features the work of quite a few photographers, describing how they made each photograph. The photos are grouped into sections like "Working With Light", "The Male Nude", "The Female Nude", "The Commercial Nude", "The Artistic Nude", etc. There is a lot of really good information here, and the photographers all share a lot of their philosophy of photographing thenudes as well. Four photographers (including me!) were chosen for a special section with interviews. Eight of my images were chosen for this book, including the cover.
