"Angel at Work" --- based on this text by Ben H. Swett.

Light pouring out ... infinite patience ... joy ... compassion ... love for the tiny being trapped in the little dark egg.

Might the egg be ... ?

I had been interested in doing a visual version of the vision for some time. In the earliest semi-satisfactory attempt (1996), the egg glowed (you can see the traces of it still), but Ben told me it was dark. Which makes sense, because that kind of shell blocks light.

The exercise here was to capture a bit of the radiance of the story. I think I caught a minute fraction of it, less than I had wanted and less than I had even expected. On the other hand, exercise is for improvement. Revisions have happened off and on and probably will continue.
