Space Walk

t-minus
forty-three hours...

Kissing you is as natural as breathing,
as touching the ground when
walking.  It fills me
like water, permeates
my cells, my vessels, yet
I forget.  I forget
what drives me on,
what drags me through entropy
whole and safe.  You
leave, and I
float away, choke, gasp.
A naked astronaut tripping in the
solar wind.
