Hi Dominique
Regarding the Art+Com eyetracker piece you mentioned, I talked to Joachim
Sauter about it a few years ago, and he said the whole installation was
discontinued because of too many soft- and hardware fuck-ups. Have tried to
track the system, with no luck so far.

For your research database: A similar installation, though even better
conceptually, was Ulrike Gabriels installation "Terrain 01", where 30 solar
powered robot bugs were triggered by light. The light was triggered by a
"brainwave-meter" connected to the user. The lights only came on when the
user managed to lower the brainwave activity to a zen level, or fall
asleep. So in practice, the bugs only moved when the user didn't actively
observe them. The artist cannot watch his own object of creation.
